CA — Toronto, Ontario. An individual under investigation for a sex attack on a small child may have other victims, Toronto Police said in an alert issued to the public on Tuesday, July 13.
33-year-old Ruby Eby of Toronto is expected to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 21.
He is facing charges of Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference With A Person Under The Age Of 16.
On May 20, a six-year-old boy went to Walter Saunders Park on Hopewell Avenue. He was subjected to a sexual assault there.
The Child and Youth Advocacy Centre launched an investigation.
Mr Eby, who is male and identifies as a woman, was taken into custody on May 8 on suspicion of being the perpetrator in the incident.
All mainstream news outlets reporting on the story are simply referring to Mr Eby as a “woman.”
