‘Trans Activist’ Says Children Need Mandatory Hormone Blockers, Kids Can’t ‘Consent’ to Puberty

A transgender “trans activist and science writer” is calling for the mandatory prescription of puberty blockers for children until they can “consent” to their bodies’ natural development and choose a gender for themselves.

“If children can’t consent to puberty blockers which pause any permanent changes even with the relevant professional evaluation, how can they consent to the permanent and irreversible changes that come with their own puberty with no professional evaluation whatsoever,” tweeted blue check verified Twitter user Zinnia Jones (also known as Zachary Antolak), a biological man who identifies as a trans woman and runs a blog by the name of Gender Analysis.

Jones, who has dubbed herself both the “Queen of Atheism” and a “Secular Trans Feminist,” dug into the position in a string of tweets, attempting to compare puberty to transgenderism as if humans exist as genderless avatars before the onset of the natural hormonal changes, which are of course, brought on by one’s biological sex.

The tweets came in the aftermath of a United Kingdom Supreme Court ruling in which judges determined that children under the age of 16 are “unlikely to be able to give informed consent” regarding the use of puberty blockers, sometimes prescribed to “transgender children” even younger than 10 years old.

“It is highly unlikely that a child aged 13 or under would be competent to give consent to the administration of puberty blockers. It is doubtful that a child aged 14 or 15 could understand and weigh the long-term risks and consequences of the administration of puberty blockers,” the court’s decision read.

The LGBT lobby has been highly critical of the ruling. The UK’s Tavistock Institute, a longtime leader in transgender ideology,is expected to pursue an appeal.
