US — Sandy, Utah. On February 23, 2021, Kadence Pinder (who currently identifies as a woman) and Marcus Strebel were charged with numerous counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony. Pinder was charged with 15 counts and Strebel was charged with 10. The two live together and operate a day care centre out of their home.

On December 2, 2019, Google suspected child pornography was being uploaded to an account and filed a CyberTip. Five days later, Google filed a second CyberTip that the same user had uploaded child pornography. The user account was later identified as Kadence Pinder.

Pinder had previously been charged in a Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) child sex abuse case, but the case was later dropped. Details of those allegations are not available.

When questioned about the child abuse material, Pinder allegedly claimed to believe the children were over the age of consent, and that Strebel may have downloaded this kind of material “by accident”.

However, in Strebel’s interviews with detectives, he apparently admitted that he and Pinder come across child pornography depicting children as young as three or four-years-old.

While Pinder and Strebel each initially agreed to a search of their phones, they subsequently refused, and thus search warrants were issued. Forensic analysis found roughly 125 child sex abuse images on Pinder’s phone.

Pinder and Strebel have been charged with numerous counts of sexual exploitation of a minor for downloading and possessing 125 child sex abuse images and videos involving pre-teen boys being sexually abused.

Pinder is known for making popular YouTube vlogs discussing transgender issues.
